Hamstery
Hello to all supporters of the Campbell dwarf hamster breed.
My name is Trisha and my kennel ChS Trisha’s Hamstery Slovakia is the first officially registered kennel of this breed in Slovakia under the Czech Hamster Club (Český křeččí klub).
I have had the opportunity to keep this great breed as pets since 2023 and agree with the ethical principles for breeding. I do not support the unethical treatment that takes place in the reproduction shops/pet mills.
I always have only one breeding pair active, to which I devote all the necessary time so that the mother and the pups are cared for as best as possible. If you are interested, you can view the currently active breeding pair in the list of litters. I focus primarily on a tame and cuddly nature, I do not include aggressive and territorial individuals in my breeding!
The father is separated from the mother before the birth of the pups, so that there is no covering immediately after the birth, as the mother needs to rest for at least 2-3 months after giving birth and raising the pups.
I leave the the females with their mother and the males at day 25 join a group with their father.
Socialization with humans takes place after 2 weeks from birth, when the pups already function relatively independently, they are not naked and blind, and it is possible to determine their coat colour accurately, you can read about the different colours, fur types and markings in the variations section.
By the age of 5 weeks, most will show their final nature and after this period they can be adopted to a new home.
If you are interested in a pup, please read the adoption conditions. Interested parties who do not meet the given conditions will not be given a pup for adoption, as I care about my pups getting into the best possible homes, which is why I check potential new owners.
Pups can be picked up in person by agreement, and please have their crate available (I will send the address on request), or via various animal transport services, e.g. Quick PAM (costs including the crate are covered by the new owner of the pup).
With the pup, I also provide a starter package of feed and treats for the first week and his/her pedigree, where his/her ancestors are listed. You can read more detailed information about the diet for this breed in the nutrition section.
I follow the principles of personal data protection. For this reason, I do not publish details about the breeding stations from which the parents come, nor details about the clients who adopted a pup from me, or the breeding stations that adopted pups from me.
If you have any questions, contact me through the F.A.Q. Section.
