Assembly Summer- the largest digital culture and video games event in Finland, joins forces with the biggest metal poster marketplace in the world.
Assembly Summer is Finland’s largest digital culture and video games event. Held at the Helsinki Exhibition Centre on August 4-7th, this year’s edition is special as it marks Assembly’s 30th anniversary.
To celebrate this occasion, the team behind Assembly Summer made sure to spoil gaming fans. The event’s Esports program will feature the final matches of Esportal x Assembly’s CS:GO Pro-tournament with a €15,000 prize pool and the Assembly battle game tournament, which became a hit at Assembly Winter 2022.
Geeky activities don’t end here, because the 30th-anniversary event offers three separate program stages. Assembly Summer’s main stage, equipped with the largest screen in Finland, will be an arena of demoscene competitions, including a head-to-head live coding tournament held to the tune of a DJ set.
Visitors will also get a chance to dive into some of the most intriguing demos from Assembly’s 30-year history, join one of many seminars, and revisit the early days of video games in a unique retro exhibition.
This year’s Assembly Summer is also special for Displate. They are joining the event as an official partner to share “offline” passion with hundreds of players and fans.
Displate is the leading marketplace for unique metal posters. So far, they sold over 5 million posters all over the world. By working with over 40 thousand artists, Displate offers access to 1.5 million works, and among them, you will find many official designs created in cooperation with our partner brands such as Star Wars, DC Comics, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, Marvel, NASA and Netflix.
Displate metal posters have already found their way into 1.8 million homes and offices around the world. What a number!
“We are delighted to have Displate as a main partner of our 30th year anniversary festival. I’m sure the Assembly’s early adopter audience will love the collections Displate has to offer from various categories. We have already seen the posters on the walls of several streamers and now you can get those from Assembly venue. The collaboration also enables the possibility of handing out awards to competition winners which they will not forget.”- said Lassi Nummi, Assembly CEO.
To all esport fans- See you in Helsinki!
